Saturday was too rainy for outdoor painting, but that didn't stop the Paint the Town crew from getting things done! Instead, 15 intrepid volunteers headed up to the third floor of the historic Tucker County Bank Building, where they ripped through 76 years of musty carpet to reveal a beautiful hardwood floor. This space was used as a Masonic Temple from 1903 to 2004, and we hope to restore it to be used as a gathering place once again.
The next Paint the Town event will be on Saturday, July 18. We are hoping for sunshine so that we can get outside and paint!
